Editorial Board Structure
The Editorial Board of JDIEF consists of the Editor‑in‑Chief, Managing Editors, Section Editors, and Advisory Members. Each member plays a vital role in maintaining the quality, integrity, and inclusiveness of the journal.
- Editor‑in‑Chief: Provides overall leadership, ensures adherence to editorial policies, and makes final decisions on manuscripts.
- Managing Editors / Section Editors: Manage submissions within their subject areas, oversee peer review, and recommend editorial decisions.
- Advisory Members: Offer guidance on journal development, thematic directions, and international collaboration.
Responsibilities of Editors
- Manuscript Handling
- Ensure that submissions fall within the scope of JDIEF.
- Assign manuscripts to qualified reviewers.
- Maintain confidentiality throughout the review process.
- Decision Making
- Evaluate reviewer reports and author revisions.
- Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection.
- Uphold fairness and transparency in editorial decisions.
- Ethical Oversight
- Monitor compliance with COPE guidelines.
- Address allegations of misconduct, plagiarism, or conflicts of interest.
- Ensure that all research respects ethical standards.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback.
- Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts.
- Declare any conflicts of interest.
- Evaluate originality, methodology, clarity, and contribution to inclusive economics and finance.
Responsibilities of Authors
- Submit original, unpublished work not under consideration elsewhere.
- Follow JDIEF’s formatting and ethical guidelines.
- Disclose funding sources and conflicts of interest.
- Respond promptly to reviewer comments and editorial requests.
Editorial Workflow
- Submission → Manuscripts are submitted via the online system.
- Initial Screening → Checked for scope, formatting, and plagiarism.
- Peer Review → Double‑blind review by at least two experts.
- Decision → Editor‑in‑Chief or Section Editor issues decision.
- Revision → Authors revise based on feedback.
- Final Acceptance → Manuscript moves to copyediting and production.
- Publication → Article published online with DOI and archived.
