JDIEF Publication Ethical Principles
For Editors
- Editors play an important role in making editorial decisions on all articles that go through the peer review process.
- Transparency must be maintained in research records and publications, without being influenced by personal or commercial interests.
- Editors must be ready to publish retraction, corrections, or errata when necessary.
- Manuscript assessment is carried out objectively, only based on scientific quality and intellectual content, without discrimination of race, gender, geographical origin, or religion of the author.
- The confidentiality of the manuscript must be maintained until official publication.
- Research integrity is a priority. If there is an alleged violation, JDIEF will investigate thoroughly with the authorities. Irregularities in the review process are also handled transparently.
For Reviewers
- Provide detailed, constructive, and unbiased evaluations in a timely manner.
- Assess the clarity, relevance, originality, and scientific accuracy of the work.
- Maintain confidentiality throughout the review process.
- Inform editors if there is a conflict of interest, and refuse to review if there is a conflict.
- Report to the editor if ethical issues are found, including violations of human/animal research subjects or significant similarities to published works.
For Authors
- The manuscript must be original and free from plagiarism.
- It must not be being published or considered in another journal when submitted to JDIEF.
- Conflicts of interest must be clearly disclosed.
- All referenced sources must be properly acknowledged, including permission from relevant parties when necessary.
- Only individuals who have contributed significantly to research or writing are listed as authors; other contributions are noted in the Acknowledgements section.
For Publishers
- JDIEF works closely with editors, clearly defining roles and responsibilities so that editorial decisions are transparent and informed.
- JDIEF upholds the integrity, independence, and originality of each article, with a commitment to the highest ethical standards in terms of:
- Research and publication funding
- Ethics and integrity of publications
- Conflict of interest
- Confidentiality
- Authorship
- Modification of the article
- Timeliness of publication
