Peer Review Workflow
Journal of Dissemination of Inclusive Economics and Finance (JDIEF) applies a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published articles. The workflow is structured as follows:
1. Initial Screening
- All submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the editorial office to ensure compliance with the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards.
- Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be returned to authors for revision or rejected without external review.
2. Assignment to Section Editor
- Eligible manuscripts are assigned to a Section Editor who oversees the review process.
- The Section Editor selects qualified reviewers based on expertise and relevance to the manuscript’s subject area.
3. Double-Blind Peer Review
- JDIEF employs a double-blind peer review system, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.
- Each manuscript is typically reviewed by at least two independent experts.
- Reviewers evaluate originality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and contribution to inclusive economics and finance.
4. Review Reports and Decision
- Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the Section Editor makes a preliminary decision: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.
- Authors receive detailed feedback and are invited to revise their manuscripts accordingly.
5. Revision and Resubmission
- Authors submit revised manuscripts addressing reviewers’ comments.
- The revised version may be sent back to reviewers for further evaluation, depending on the extent of changes.
6. Final Decision
- The Editor-in-Chief or Section Editor makes the final decision after considering reviewers’ reports and the quality of revisions.
- Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting and production.
7. Publication
- After final proofreading and layout, the article is published online in JDIEF.
- Published articles are assigned DOIs and archived for long-term accessibility.
